“Kyra Eno brings a positive light into the stable and to her horses. She is dedicated to the sport, kind, and has exceptional sportsmanship, but most importantly she is becoming a horsewoman. She cares about the horses first, the horses love her, and she desires to learn everything she can for the care and welfare of the animal. She is on track to have success in and out of the saddle; her hard work is beginning to shape a well-rounded equestrian/horsewoman.”

“I first met Kyra in April of 2022 when she arrived at Matt Sereni’s training facility in Morgan Hill, which is where I train the Dressage flat work discipline for all of the Hunter/Jumper and Equitation horses and riders. It was immediately evident to me that Kyra has a natural talent for riding, accompanied with dedication to work hard, and with a drive for self-improvement.
I was excited to get going working with her because I knew that this combination of qualities that she possesses will be very rewarding for me to produce. I also appreciate her empathy for her horses, the care and admiration for these animals is a vital part of their success. I might have been Kyra’s first introduction to the art of riding classical dressage, and I have had so much fun with her helping her build a solid foundation and understanding of her dressage riding. I am impressed by her ability and attitude to learn, she is a very coachable student. Any program that she wishes to involve herself in for both the equestrian field and for furthering education, will be fortunate to have her enrolled as part of their team.
I wish Kyra the very best for what is going to be a very exciting and fulfilling career, she has a very bright future!”

“It is a pleasure and an honor to write a testimonial on behalf of Kyra Eno. I have been working with Kyra since August of 2022 as her Independent Studies Teacher in the Los Gatos Saratoga Union High School District. From our very first session together, I have been incredibly impressed with Kyra’s work ethic, study habits, integrity and engagement as a student. I possess equal admiration for her passion, maturity, resilience, compassion, enthusiasm, kind heart and respectful nature as a human being. In short- she is a delight to work with.
As a student, the life skills that Kyra consistently displays will carry her far on her journey as a scholar-athlete. She is organized in her time management and punctual to every session. She has a razor-sharp attention to detail, a curiosity for learning, unmatched dedication and focus that make her an exceptional student. She is open to feedback and enthusiastically reflects on the results of our exams. She is hard-working, communicative, and balanced. Kyra carries a level of discipline and maturity well beyond her years, yet maintains an approachable and down to earth nature. These qualities will serve her well as a university scholar athlete and in life.
Outside of her Independent Studies work, Kyra never ceases to amaze me. We often start our sessions with a little update from the week, and her passion and enthusiasm for her training, competitions and shows pour through the screen. This young lady seamlessly balances rigorous academic demands with high-level equestrian training. She has a commitment to excellence as well as a deep desire to both broaden her knowledge base of equestrian skills as well as improve the skills in her current repertoire. She is the epitome of the “continuous improvement” concept. I can tell through her stories and photos that Kyra is deeply connected to the horses she works with and has the utmost respect for her trainers and fellow equestrian community. She is patient, humble, hard working and persistent. If coaching Kyra is anything like working with her on the academic side, I am confident that she is a gem of a coachable athlete.
In conclusion, Kyra Eno is a gift. I look forward to every session of ours. The sum-total of Kyra’s exceptional traits, in and out of the classroom (and saddle!), set her up on a path of success. Kyra Eno is an extraordinary student and equestrian athlete, and I truly believe she will be an asset to any university or program on the journey of her collegiate career.”
